Crews responded to the report of a large tree down at the intersection of the Franklin Rd. and Hyde Rd. Upon arrival crews found a large limb had fallen and taken down the street light and blocked a busy 4 way intersection. Jay Highway was called in and the tree cut up and removed with a bucket load...

     C-1 and E-1 responded to 232 Old Jay Hill rd. for a reported propane leak. Upon investigation a leak was found at the regulator, Both tanks were shut off and the home owner was advised to contact her supplier. E-3 stood by at station 2....

Mon. Aug 18th 2008
C-1, E-3, and E-1 responded to a reported car off the road with unknown P.I. or entrapment. Upon arrival units found the patient had self extricated and was suffering from a possible broken leg and multiple contusions. Units assisted North Star ambulance service and assisted with traffic control....

E-1, E-3, L-1, S-1, and T-1 responded to a reported possible structure fire with smoke showing. Upon a complete search with Thermal Imaging nothing was found. Units then investigated several area residence and an abandon quarry with no results....

C-1, T-1, and 4x4-1 responded to a reported flooded basement at 38 Woodman Hill Rd. Upon investgation units found the end of the drain pipe plugged and remove the problem. Units cleared in 30 minutes....

E-1 Responded to a controlled fire at the Jay Transfer Station that was unattended.  JF-6 reported the fire when he investigated smoke showing from the Dump. Units extinguished the fire and returned to the station....
